Kyiv defends itself from attack on morning of Nato summit in Lithuania; ‘Ukraine will be in alliance’ says Ukrainian president amid caution from members
US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in comments a few minutes ago that the US and allies will “send a positive message” on Ukraine’s future membership of Nato at the summit, which kicks off today in Lithuania.
He also said that a new Nato aid package for Ukraine would be agreed on at the summit.
