Norway’s prime minister, Jonas Gahr Støre, has proposed his country should provide some 75 billion Norwegian crowns (£6.1 bn) in aid to Ukraine over five years.

Speaking at a news conference after meeting with opposition leaders, Støre said:

We aim to secure a unified agreement on this in parliament.
