Criminal proceedings initiated against Hollywood actor for allegedly failing to declare plans to sell watch

The Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been held at Munich airport for allegedly failing to declare an expensive watch he was planning to sell.

The Austrian-born actor and former governor of California, 76, was detained in the customs area of the airport on Wednesday afternoon after arriving in Germany from the US, said a customs spokesperson, Thomas Meister.
