French interior minister says assailant arrested after passersby attacked in Quai de Grenelle area of capital
One person has been killed and two others injured after an assailant attacked passersby in central Paris near the Eiffel Tower, the French interior minister said on Saturday night.
Gérald Darmanin wrote on X: “The police have just courageously arrested an assailant attacking passersby in Paris, around the Quai de Grenelle … Please avoid the area.”
