‘Not what we stand for’: protesters rally after Geert Wilders’ shock Dutch election win – video

Protesters rallied against the election win of far-right populist Geert Wilders in Utrecht a day after Dutch poll results caused upset for Muslims and LGBTQ+ voters. Demonstrators rallied, some wrapped in rainbow flags and flying Palestinian flags, in a march opposing Wilders and his Party for Freedom (PVV). The PVV – whose manifesto included calls for bans on mosques, the Qur’an and the wearing of Islamic headscarves in government buildings – won 37 seats in the 150-seat parliament, more than double its previous number
