Thousands of refugees flee to Armenia in wake of Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh military offensive – live

Almost 3,000 ethnic Armenians have already left the disputed region amid food and fuel shortages

Simon Mordue, the chief diplomatic adviser to the European Council president, Charles Michel, will host a meeting with representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, France and Germany, according to a senior EU official.

The EU’s special representative for the South Caucasus will also attend the session.
